About the job

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

As a Technical Program Manager in Global Projects, you will serve as a technical and operational leader responsible for planning, governing, and executing physical security infrastructure programs across a mission-critical footprint. You will lead the delivery of global Move/Add/Change (MAC) projects, system uplift initiatives, hardware/software lifecycles, and sustainment operations.

This position requires deep technical mastery across the physical security stack including access control, perimeter intrusion detection, video surveillance, biometric authentication, electronic key management, and radio systems combined with a strong understanding of the IT server, storage, and network infrastructure underpinning modern cyber-physical security environments.

Operating at the intersection of security engineering, IT infrastructure, and program delivery, you will direct cross-functional vendor teams, apply hybrid waterfall and agile execution methodologies, and leverage data analytics to report program health, velocity, and risk to leadership.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

  • Serve as the technical escalation authority and architectural reviewer for access control, PIDS, video surveillance, biometrics, key management, and radio platforms.
  • Partner with IT, Network Engineering, and SRE on infrastructure updates including server refreshes, OS migrations, SecLAN switch upgrades, and zero-trust authentication.
  • Manage distributed teams of vendor personnel and system integrators, overseeing SOWs, resource capacity, and SLA compliance. Build actionable executive dashboards from raw deployment and fleet health data to present telemetry, variance, and risk analyses.
