Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in media analytics, advertising sales, digital media and marketing, consulting, or financial analysis.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience with marketing measurement and attribution techniques (e.g., offline measurement, MMM, MTA, attribution) and Google advertising products (e.g., Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Marketing Platform, etc).
  • Experience working closely with key stakeholders, advising on marketing/business performance, and influencing decisions together with insights and measurement
  • Knowledge of SQL, databases, and basic automation techniques (e.g., dashboards, automating custom reports, materializing tables).
  • Ability to analyze datasets, identify actionable insights, and communicate findings via presentations or dashboards.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with comfort delivering simple and compelling stories to audiences of all levels.

We are the Retail West Data, Measurement and Analytics team in the Large Customer Sales org. Our team partners closely with many of the largest retailers in the US to develop digital solutions that help build businesses and brands. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video, shopping, etc. to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

In this role, you will use data and insights to solve problems that meaningfully transform their businesses and help achieve their objectives. You will foster and lead relationships with client marketing, strategy, and analytics stakeholders.

We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $124,000-$180,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Be an expert in helping prove the value of Google media via the triangulation of incrementality experiments, MMM, and attribution.
  • Use predictive and statistical modeling techniques to solve challenges, uncover opportunities and develop solutions for client business. Help customers navigate industry standards and alternatives.
  • Seek out key decision makers, challenge the status quo and influence decisions by telling stories with data, both visually and verbally. Foster and own client relationships including marketing/advertising, analytics, finance and corporate strategy.
  • Consult with clients as an industry advocate and analyst on their total opportunity and value delivered for driving their business outcomes with a growth mentality.
  • Develop strategic measurement plans in partnership with external client sponsorship, bringing the best of Google and specialist teams along for brilliant execution.
