Product GTM Strategy and Operations Manager, YouTube (English, Hindi)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in a management consulting, sales operations, business strategy or corporate advisory role.
  • 4 years of experience working with executive management and managing cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Hindi fluently in order to communicate in this partner-facing role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience using SQL or data analytics tools deliver insights and recommendations.
  • Deep knowledge of YouTube large partners and creator ecosystem, as well as the customer and participant context.
  • Strong interpersonal skills enabling effective collaboration with a broad set of stakeholders from different markets and regions.
  • Strong business acumen with distinctive problem solving and data-analysis skillset.
  • Strong written and oral communications skills; exceptional ability to structure a compelling storyline and build presentation decks/documents to support their position and influence executives.
  • Self starter; ability to effectively operate with flexibility in a fast-paced, high energy, constantly evolving, team environment.

About the job

The YouTube Business Central Strategy and Operations Team is responsible for leading global, cross-functional, strategic initiatives to drive the unprecedented growth and health of the YouTube creator and partner ecosystem. The core capabilities of the team include strategic planning and business operations, incentives design and operations, and business strategy and operations for the three regions: Americas, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), and Asia-Pacific (APAC).

In this role, you will be a key thought partner and advisor to the YouTube APAC leadership team, helping them make critical business decisions. You will be backed by local and regional industry and market expertise, coupled with core business metrics. You will also be a critical team member in monitoring the health of the business across the region, surfacing opportunities and hot spots and developing cross-functional action plans to drive the success of the business. You will drive critical initiatives for the YouTube India business, shaping strategy, bringing new products and programs to market, and providing data-driven insights to guide business-critical decisions. You will collaborate closely with leadership and cross-functional teams across India and APAC and globally to identify growth opportunities, address challenges, and enhance YouTube's go-to-market approach.At YouTube, we believe that everyone deserves to have a voice, and that the world is a better place when we listen, share, and build community through our stories. Responsibilities

  • Own the product go-to-market strategy in APAC for key verticals and products (e.g., creator activation), with a specific focus on India.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with Global Product Activation, Product, YouTube Partnerships, Marketing, Global Business Operations (GBO), and other cross-functional teams to drive product adoption and business outcomes, while leading complex projects across a broad stakeholder group.
  • Synthesize and prioritize regional feedback to provide strategic product roadmap recommendations to global teams.
  • Partner with global product, regional, and country teams on pilots, program assessments, and joint initiatives to drive market growth and support the overall business plan.
  • Drive and lead quarterly regional and global leadership reports, providing insights on market trends, key risks, and action plans for global-first initiatives.
