  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • 5 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.

With technical and leadership expertise, you manage engineers across multiple teams and locations, a large product budget and oversee the deployment of large-scale projects across multiple sites internationally.

The Chrome Enterprise team addresses the challenges of deploying and securing Chrome at scale for over 3 billion users. As work shifts to the browser, our full-stack team builds robust services to protect enterprise data amidst AI-driven transformations. Contributing to Chromium and building cloud infrastructure on Google 3 and Workspace, we deliver customizable AI services, data governance, and deployable zero-trust solutions. We partner with Safe Browsing, Workspace, Cloud Security, and Gemini teams to bring Google's best enterprise productivity and security technologies to customers globally.

Chrome is dedicated to building a better, more open web. We’re focused on making a better browser (on both desktop and mobile) to help users take advantage of all the web has to offer in a safe and secure way.Chrome is available across all major platforms — iOS, Android, Windows, Mac, Linux and Chrome OS. We also built Chrome as an open source project so the entire web ecosystem could benefit from the latest innovations in speed, simplicity and security.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $262000 - $365000 (USD) + 25% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Set and communicate team priorities that support the broader organization's goals. Align strategy, processes, and decision-making across teams.
  • Set clear expectations with individuals based on their level and role and aligned to the broader organization's goals. Meet regularly with individuals to discuss performance and development and provide feedback and coaching.
  • Define the technical roadmap and strategy for Chrome Enterprise's suite of Context Aware Access solutions. Ensure the tools and applications are robust, scalable, and performant, meeting the high demands of a global infrastructure.
  • Build AI-powered solutions to accelerate deployment flows for complex network setups and security requirements. Guide the team in integrating AI into their daily routines to maximize productivity.
  • Work closely with Product Managers, Customer Engineers, Site Reliability Engineers, and other engineering teams to identify needs and deliver impactful solutions.
